Time to plant bulbs and protect them with Deer Defeat repellent!!!.

We have been blessed with this wonderful weather, warm temperature and only one serious frost so far. I am sure cold is on the way, but in my Mom’s words ”what passes with nice doesn’t with bad”. Yes Mom…. A very simple phrase from the wise.
So, if you have not done it yet, please start planting your spring blooming bulbs now before the frost sets in the ground. Your local garden stores have a great variety of tulips, daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, irises and alliums. If you have never planted these bulbs before, you will find instructions with your purchase. You will also find unique bulb tools of all sorts… including drills, but my favorite gadget is just a simple hand trowel.
Adding some fertilizer to your bulbs is recommended to help with growth, but we feel Deer Defeat all natural deer, rabbit and groundhog repellent has a dual purpose. It will protect your bulbs from being dug out from various critters after they have been planted, plus it will give them that boost when they begin to grow.

Here is a very easy solution. Before you plant your bulbs follow these simple steps:
Pour some Deer Defeat Ready to Use solution in a container and soak the bulbs you wish to plant for about an hour or two.
Remove them from the solution and let them dry slightly for about a half hour and plant as usual. Your bulbs will be protected and remain untouched by critters, plus they will have that extra nourishment to give them a boost when they will be ready to start their growth.
Strain solution used for soaking through a fine mesh to eliminate possible debris that could clog sprayer and then pour back into sprayer, to be used as usual.
Just remember, a little work now will give you a load of enjoyment in the early Spring!
Happy gardening!!!
