Test updates
June 23, 2010 by Nevia.
This year we heard many people complaining about chipmunks digging out potted plants. We gave samples of Deer Defeat to six customers to have it tested. We received a few e-mails back and the repellent is reported to be very effective against chipmunks. They are staying away from the plants.
Woodchucks and beavers also can do a lot of damage to vegetable gardens. Again, we gave few samples out, and are still waiting for the results.
If you read our spring blog you are familiar with our orchard test. We have been testing our Deer Defeat Commercially on young cherry and peach trees. Now we have been asked to protect the pumpkin field. Our name, Deer Defeat came as a result of many years of testing our product on plants and flowers and actually defeating the deer. We had succeeded 100 % to create a repellent that will protect flowers, flowering trees and evergreens in all seasons including the winter. Deer Defeat Repellent, it truly can’t be beat.
Currently, we are testing Deer Defeat for a local farmer with three acres of vegetables. He told us deer ate one third of his corn before applying Deer Defeat. He explained that if the deer eats the tops of the corn, those plants never pollinate. The stocks will grow but it will not produce any corn. This is a big loss for the farmers.
We will continue with the orchard, pumpkin field and vegetable farm tests throughout the summer and keep you posted.

Blooming now
June 23, 2010 by Nevia.
June and July are the months for day lilies. Hope you have been spraying as instructed and by now you should start to see those beautiful flowers opening daily. Lilies have a short blooming life but when you have varieties of hybrids, they bloom at different times, therefore lasting longer.
Roses are in full bloom too. Deer love roses, thorns and all, so protect them with Deer Defeat.
We like to share with you pictures of our flower gardens. We encourage you to send us pictures of your beautiful flowers and flower gardens that were protected with Deer Defeat Repellent. We would love to post them for our viewers.

Happy summer, share a video
June 23, 2010 by admin.
It’s hard to believe its summer already. This spring was very busy for us.
Deer Defeat is doing great. We have many new stores in the Hudson Valley, historic Senoia Georgia, Spring Hill Florida and Great Barrington, Massachusetts that carry Deer Defeat. For all the listings of stores that carry Deer Defeat Repellent please see our home page and click on where to buy. We thank our retail carriers for their support.
We have heard from many of our satisfied customers that they have enjoyed their tulips and hostas this spring for the first time in many years.
Recently we received a video from a customer in Georgia. This customer had the chance to observe the effectiveness of Deer Defeat. She placed some hosta in a pot in a clearing and noticed that the deer evaded the plant by as much as 10 to 15 feet. She was amazed with the performance of Deer Defeat and wanted to share this video with us. It’s now on U-tube and our home page. Please check it out. We appreciate when you take the time to let us know how good Deer Defeat Repellent works for you.
We invite you to please take few minutes out of your busy time to let us know how Deer Defeat has changed your gardening experience. Feel free to write to our Forum, we need to hear from you. Please share your experience with other gardeners and let them know how easy it is to protect and grow beautiful flowers with Deer Defeat Repellent.
