Spring is here

Happy spring!
We visited New York City this weekend and were amazed to see leaves on the trees and all the Tulips in full bloom already. Back home, in upstate New York it still looks like Spring is waking up. A few days of higher than normal temperatures have sped up some of the trees into
blooms and it looks that Spring is arriving early this year. A welcoming site after this winter. The Azaleas will be opening soon, Lilies are half way there, and the Hostas are on their way. Don’t forget that deer absolutely love all of these plants, so please do not forget to spray them.
If you have many deer browsing it is very important to discourage them in the early spring. Deer are creatures of habit; they remember where the food is. They will keep bringing their young ones, and the trend will continue for generations. If you would like to break the cycle give Deer Defeat Repellent a try, and we guarantee you will stop the deer damage. You will want to spray with Deer Defeat Repellent any Perennials which the deer Love, as soon as they emerge from the ground. Spray them again when these are 5 to 6 inches tall and finally at maturity. All flowering plants with buds, such as Lilies and Hostas should be sprayed when they are budding and then follow up with a light spray once per month during the growing season. This will guarantee the deer will stay away from your sprayed plants permanently. Don’t forget to spray any young flowering trees like Cherries, Lily Magnolia etc., and spray as soon as the leaves start budding. If your Azaleas have survived the winter it does not mean that deer will also leave them alone in the Spring. Protect them by lightly spraying the entire bush. Once you start spraying all the vegetation that deer love with Deer Defeat Repellent, you will notice the decrease of deer visiting your yard. Adjust the application of Deer Defeat Repellent by observing the deer in your yard. When applying Deer Defeat correctly, deer should not get any closer than 10 to 15 feet of your sprayed flowers or shrubs. Deer Defeat Repellent creates the invisible barrier and protects your precious flowers and plants from any Deer damage. You will not have to worry when it rains, as rain will not affect the performance of the repellent. Recently, we have started testing Deer Defeat for Commercial uses. Deer Defeat Repellent can not be used on vegetables or fruit directly; therefore our testing on fruit trees is done unique for each kind of vegetation. We have just started testing with Cherry trees and Peach trees, and will continue with Grape vines and vegetable farms. These are farmer’s worst complaints with Deer damage. As for now, you can spray Deer Defeat Repellent around the perimeter only, which works great for vegetable gardens and fruit trees. Many different ways are still being explored and we will keep you posted of the pending results.
You can buy Deer Defeat Repellent locally at many fine locations through out the beautiful Hudson Valley or on line by visiting  www.deerdefeat.com.
